YES Program
A program for secondary school students from Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Egypt, Gaza, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel (Arab Communities), Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malyasia, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Phillipines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, West Bank, and Yemen to spend up to one academic  year in the US. Students live with host famlies and attend high school, engaging in community life. iEARN is currently responsible for the recruitment of students from Arab-Israel, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Liberia, Mali, Pakistan, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Suriname. iEARN is partnering with a number of other organizations, including AYUSA and AMIDEAST to enhance the program through ongoing online project partnerships among  participating schools.  As part of the program, participating students exchange experiences via iEARN cyberdiaries (pictured below left).YES alumni students stay connected and share the ongoing impact of their year in the YES Consortium Alumni Database.
