NSLI-Y Students Return From Morocco

We welcome our National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) students home after five months of study in Morocco. The eight NSLI-Y students officially completed their intensive Arabic language program in Rabat, Morocco this past week.

During their semester study, the NSLI-Y students attended daily Arabic language classes, exchanged with local high school students, and completed volunteer activities. Students experienced and lived the local culture by living with host families, participating in cooking and literacy clubs, and traveling to historical sites around Rabat, Marrakesh, Fes, and the Sahara.

The NSLI-Y students officially completed the program and celebrated their achievements in Arabic language study through a formal closing ceremony in Rabat.
