Folktales Project
- education magazine, Edutopia, featured an article on iEARN's Folk
Tales Project entitled, "Telling Tales: Pakistani Students Share their
Culture Lore Online". The project if facilitated by Saleem Ibrahim, of
iEARN Pakistan. The project looks at the global community and cultural diversity through folk tales. Read more
My Dream World Project - this project provides an opportunity for the students in schools
around the world to share their ideas about their dream world through writing essays, prose, poems and artwork. Read more

Four Rivers, One World - students and educators from Bangladesh, India, Nepal and the US work together to find solutions to protect rivers in their communities. The project is in partnership with the Center for Innovation in Engineering and Science Education (CIESE) at
Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey and the WaterKeeper
Alliance in New York City. Join this discussion or view the project's photo album. This April, teachers from these countries will be visiting New York City to participate in the YouthCaN Conference, attend a workshop at the Stevens Institute, and visit local schools. Call for Project Partners: Future Citizen Project
seeks partners for collaboration between Mar 31st to May 16th. The
Future Citizen Project develops youth who will use their leadership
skills in their local community and globally. The project focuses on rights and duties of
the citizen, tolerance and freedom, civic responsibilities and
engagement. Between March and May, students will research laws,
elections, and governmental systems in their own country as well as
complete a service learning project such as a voter registration drive,
volunteering for a candidate, volunteering at the polls, or writing
letters to government officials about important community issues.
CATALYST Project - On March 16-30, students and teachers from iEARN-Pakistan and iEARN-Uzbekistan visited Baton Rouge, LA as part of the CATALYST Project: Changing Attitudes by Taking Advantage of Linking Youth and
Schools Together. The group visited West Baton Rouge Parish secondary schools to work with US teachers and youth. The
group included a student and teacher from Absa School for the Deaf in
Pakistan, as well as from the Louisiana School
for the Deaf. CATALYS partners iEARN with AnimAction and The Red Stick Animation Festival in the USA to train students in animation media. Students learned how to create animations about disaster preparedness that will be shown at The Red Stick Animation Festival as well as around the world. During their stay the group shadowed students at Devall Middle School and participated in Talking Kites, World Water Day, and Earth Hour. They rode horses, went on an alligator tour, visited plantations and a Civil War Battle Field, went to the Audubon Zoo, and on a tour to the areas of New Orleans affected by Hurricane Katrina.
