Submission Guidelines
 
Spotlight: Success Stories from iEARNers
 
"Spotlight" will feature success stories from educators, schools and students who engage in iEARN projects, conferences, workshops and other activities or events. This is a great opportunity for iEARNers to share how they integrate online connectivity in their classrooms.  
 
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
 
  • Parents or legal guardians are required to provide iEARN with authorization to use stories written by minors as well as provide consent to use photos submitted for use.  Please click here for special instuctions.
  • If submitting photos, please send clear quality pictures no larger than 2 MB in jpeg or gif format.
  • If submitting photos that include minors, please click here for an authorization form.  All photos with individuals under 18 years of age, are required to submit this form. 
  • Include a title for your story, author's name, grade level and school name  (if you are writing about your experience in an iEARN Project, please include the project name).
  • Word Count: no more than 300
  • All submissions are subject to editorial review
 
 
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS (under 18 years of age): For parents or legal guardians: please carfefully read and complete the authorization form below by inserting the required fields indicated by (parentheses).  Copy and paste the form in an email and send to: crobinson@us.iearn.org  
 
 
AUTHORIZATION FORM FOR ARTICLE AND PHOTO SUBMISSIONS
 
I authorize iEARN, International Education and Resource Network, to publish the name of my (son/daughter), (please insert your son/daughter's name), on the iEARN website.  I understand that my child's name will be used on the website to credit articles written by her/him. I am also aware that photos submitted by my (son/daughter) will be noted with his/her name and posted online with the submitted story.
