iEARN making a difference story /case study

  • Introduce your school and community, including the class age of the students, etc.
  • School Demographics
  • Briefly describe your current international project work and how it has helped you achieve curriculum standards; please mention the curriculum standards
  • What were the outcomes? Talk about outcomes and results, both tangible and affective outcomes. Were there any unexpected out/successes as a result of your involvement in iEARN? Share a few examples, web links or references.
  • How did your students respond as they participated? Include some students' quotes.
  • How is teaching through an iEARN project different from teaching the same subjects/topics in a traditional/regular way?
  • What were the responses of Principal, curriculum leaders, parents etc.?
  • What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
  • Make recommendations to your fellow teachers about online project based learning with iEARN.
  • Share how you assessed your students' work.
  • Add some pictures of students and your classrooms. Please get permission from the parents and school to publish them and submit that written permission along with all pictures.
  • The vision and purpose of iEARN is to enable young people to undertake projects designed to make a meaningful contribution to the health and welfare of the planet and its people. Please describe how you feel the project has helped to make the world a better place.
