THE iEARN CDROM
The iEARN CD-ROM uses a Web browser to display text, images
and multimedia. To access the content of this CD-ROM you do
not need an internet connection, however, there are
many resources available on the Web that we would like to
provide you. We have placed the following icon
to help you identify any resource or content that is linked
to the World Wide Web.
You will also be able to navigate the CD-ROM using your
browser's Back and Forward buttons just like while
connected to the Web.
Please note that content and links on the WWW are constantly changing. For the most up to date version of the contents of this CD, go to http://us.iearn.org and follow the links to professional development.

You can use the navigation on the top-right side of
all pages to access content in a linear fashion, going
from step 1 through step 8, or you can navigate the CD-ROM
using the Table of Content
page to jump directly to a specific page or topic. |
Documents Format
The following is a list of icons that make reference to the
type of application that you will need to view the content
of the document:

To view Adobe Acrobat*, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
files you need to have these applications installed on your
computer. Some newer plug-ins and Web browsers allow you to
view these documents directly from your browser, in this case
you will need to have the correspondent plug-in installed.
If you have problems opening these files, you can also open
them from the application directly. For example, if you are
within the section 'Share' and would like to see the file
'Introduction to iEARN' (in Power Point), you can launch Power
Point on your computer, and then go to 'File' > 'Open'
and browse the CDROM for the folder 'share', where you
will find the Power Point file. All support files available
on the CDROM are organized by section.
* To download the FREE Acrobat Reader go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/
and choose a language and platform that matches your computer
configuration.

If you do not have RealPlayer installed on your computer
you will need to download the FREE installer from the Web

QuickTime Player
For the latest version FREE player go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime
