Our Footprints, Our Future (OF2)

An international initiative that encourages youth (ages 19 and younger) from around the world to use online tools and resources to measure their carbon footprint and develop ways to reduce their carbon usage. The goal is for one million students around the world to join together with their families, their schools, and their communities to reduce the total global carbon footprint.

(OF)2 is a partnership project between the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), the International Education and Resource Network (iEARN), and the public television channel, Channel Thirteen

(OF)2 YouthCalculator

OF2YouthCalculator was developed by iEARN in conjunction with ZeroFootprint.net. It provides a fun and easy way for youth (ages 19 and younger) to both measure and reduce their carbon footprint as part of a global community of youth. Youth will be able to measure the impact they are having, as well as discuss the results and share strategies for reducing the carbon footprint of their families, schools, and communities in the iEARN Forum dedicated to the (OF)2 project. TheYouthCalculator was created specifically for youths, and takes YouthCalculatorinto account the differences in lifestyle around the world. It is currently available in four languages at: http://zerofootprint.net/youth/iearn Web link

The goal is for one million students around the world to join together with their families, their schools, and their communities to reduce the total global carbon footprint.
