Online Professional Development Courses

iEARN-USA's co-facilitated online courses guide educators in evaluating and aligning global projects with curriculum standards as part of an integrated project plan.
Although educators develop a unique project plan for their own classroom, each course has participants from at least ten different countries. This collaborative learning experiences allows educators to communicate and network with colleagues around the world who can make teaching and learning more fun and interesting throughout year.

A Structured Approach to Cross-Classroom Online Collaboration

iEARN Learning Circles promote theme-based project work integrated with the classroom curriculum. A Learning Circle is created by a team of 6-8 teachers and their classes joined in the virtual space of an electronic classroom. Course participants have access to a comprehensive Teachers\' Guide, and are guided through the six phases of a Learning Circle. Integrating Multimedia Journalism into the Classroom

This course enables teachers to integrate journalism into their curricula and provides teachers with the opportunity to get their students certified as global youth reporters so they can submit their work for publication in a real international online publication.
